When you interact with Ax, our AI email agent — either on our website or via email — your conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI. Conversations may be stored to improve our service and follow up with you. By interacting with Ax you consent to this processing.
Some businesses ("merchants") use AxonMail to answer their own customers' support emails. If you email a store that uses AxonMail, Ax may access information about your order in order to respond to you — including your order status, tracking details, and the items on your order, together with the email address and shipping address associated with that order. This information is retrieved from the merchant's store platform (for example, Shopify) live, at the time of your inquiry, and is not retained by AxonMail; it is used only to generate the reply to your message.
For your protection, personal details such as your full shipping address are shared only when the email address you write from matches the email address on the order. When we provide customer support in this way, AxonMail acts as a service provider processing data on the merchant's behalf, and the merchant's own privacy policy also applies. As with all Ax conversations, your message content is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate a reply.
If you receive an email from us it is because you contacted us, expressed interest in our service, or we identified your business as a potential fit for AxonMail. Every marketing email we send includes an option to opt out of future communications. To unsubscribe from our emails reply with "unsubscribe" in the subject line or body, or contact us at russloper@axonmail.co.
Your information is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database provider. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
